On Sunday, May 7, 2023, TIN Social, in accordance with Mehyou Foundation, collaborated with the Children’s Cancer Center Lebanon to host a fundraiser for its hospital and cancer patients.

The Children’s Cancer Center Lebanon is a nonprofit leading national organization devoted to the treatment and support of children and teens suffering from cancer. It is a highly recognized NGO which is an advocate for children’s rights and welfare. Originally established in 2002, it continues to support around 50% of adolescents a year from Lebanese and foreign nationalities in need of treatment and support. It champions children’s rights, health, and care. The Foundation holds this cause especially near and dear to its heart. It aims to inspire the public to lend a hand to our beloved youth and to show support to their families. We are extremely aware of the detrimental effects that this illness can have on a child and their family, and we feel we must take the initiative to ease that pain. We aim to save as many lives as we can, and to be a beacon of light to those that are lost in the darkness.

The Mehyou Foundation appointed TIN Social and its team to collaborate with CCCL and coordinate a gala to benefit the center and further its treatment and research. The event was held at Avi Beirut Lounge which hosted a gala including live entertainment and dinner with all proceeds going to CCCL.

The night began with Wissam Mehyou, board member of Mehyou Foundation, delivering a heart-felt and inspirational speech. As a cancer survivor himself, he was able to relate to this cause and deliver a message that truly touched the audience. Throughout his speech, he asserted, “As humans, we are hard-wired to focus on our personal lives and our work. We take our health for granted. We forget that the health we have is a blessing that many have been deprived of. It is crucial to remember that as adults, leaders, entrepreneurs, and businessmen and women, we have a responsibility to the world, especially to the young. It is our duty to make sure that we hand over a better and healthier future to the newer generation. These children are our responsibility. Every child deserves a chance to have a future, to live, to laugh, and to love.”

The prominent Lebanese star, Carlos Hikri, was generous as to provide his entertainment services for the cause. Guests indulged in a delectable dinner with refreshing drinks and cocktails in a warm spring atmosphere. After dinner, guests enjoyed the wonderful performance of the star, Carlos. As always, Carlos put on an unforgettable show that kept guests on their feet enjoying the upbeat music and lively lyrics he always cleverly delivers.

Mehyou Foundation, TIN Social, and Avi Lounge stand united to thank the Children’s Cancer Center Lebanon for trusting them with this matter, Carlos Hikri for donating his services, and all the dear guests that joined us in bringing aid and relief to these young children and their families. We continue to be philanthropists and humanitarians for the rights of the young and old.
